YEREVAN. – The terrorist attacks, which the Islamic State organized in Paris, are an encroachment upon entire Europe.

Member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) National Assembly Faction, Hovhannes Sahakyan, noted the aforementioned at a press conference on Monday.

In his words, such an act should be strongly condemned.

“This was a challenge to the entire civilized humanity,” Sahakyan said. “The migration policy of Europe should be reviewed. What occurred at the hands of the Islamic State is reprehensible. The superpowers must definitely unite not to permit the recurrence of such a thing.” 

The RPA MP added that people are people, whether they live in Syria, or in France.

Simultaneous terrorist attacks occurred on the evening of November 13, in different parts of the French capital city.

According to official data, these attacks claimed more than 130 lives, but the media report about over 150 casualties.

A state of emergency has been declared in France.
