YEREVAN. – Minister of Defense of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan on Thursday met with the founder and president of the Tavitian Foundation, American Armenian benefactor Aso Tavitian, and representatives from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (The Fletcher School) at Tufts University  in the US, headed by the dean of The Fletcher School, Admiral James Stavridis.

The minister noted that the work by the Tavitian Foundation is a patriotic deed, which enables Armenian youth the opportunity to study at The Fletcher School, one of the world’s best educational institutions.

Tavitian, for his part, noted that they will continue their respective programs for and assistance to young representatives of Armenia’s state authorities.

The interlocutors discussed cooperation between the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia, the Tavitian Foundation, and The Fletcher School.
