YEREVAN. - Starting from December 11, the final stage of the actions of the “New Armenia” Public Salvation Front will start. Raffi Hovannisian, leader of opposition “Heritage” party and Political Council member of the “New Armenia” Front, said the aforementioned at the press-conference held in Yerevan’s Liberty Square today.
“Let those who want to live in new Armenia come to the Liberty Square Friday at 5:00 pm. We are not inviting anyone. Let those who think they can no longer live in today’s Armenia come, since Friday is the day of the final stage of actions,” Hovannisian said.
The “New Armenia” Public Salvation Front has been staging a sit-in in Yerevan’s Liberty Square since December 1. They demand cancellation of constitutional amendments and resignation of President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.
