STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army contract military serviceman Vardan Vardanyan (born in 1994) sustained a fatal gunshot wound, on Friday at around 8:50am.
Vardanyan was killed at a protection area of a Defense Army unit located in an easterly direction, and as a result of the ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan.
An investigation is underway to find out the details of this incident, informed the NKR Ministry of Defense.
