The issue on the tension on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as well as the situation on the Line of Contact between the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Armed Forces and Azerbaijan, was discussed at the OSCE session. Armenia’s Presidential Chief of Staff, Vigen Sargsyan, told the aforementioned to the journalists after the Collective Security Council session in Moscow.  

According to Sargsyan, during the session President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan drew the attention of the participants to the fact that any encroachment on the territory of Armenia is an encroachment on all the CSTO countries, this being one of the most important points in the CSTO regulation.

“President of Armenia urged everyone to be more attentive in such situations, saying that this mutual support should be fully implemented. And when the support isn’t provided, the efficiency and credibility of the CSTO turns out to be jeopardized.” he said.
