Members of the Parliament of Georgia gave a vote of confidence to the country’s new government, led by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
In addition, the MPs supported the government’s program, “for a strong, democratic, [and] united Georgia,” reported Gruzia Online news agency of the country.
A total of 86 deputies supported, whereas 28 others voted against this government.
The matter of forming a new government in Georgia had risen when, on December 23, then-PM Irakli Garibashvili had resigned.
