YEREVAN. – It seems the snowfall that hit Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan on Sunday night and early Monday morning, and which was forecast, was “unexpected” for the utility services of the city.

Even though this snowfall was not to the extent to completely stop traffic, some resultant difficulties did arise.

Traffic signs have remained under the snow and black ice.

The traffic lights at certain intersections do not work.

And as a rule, there are numerous traffic jams and road accidents.
