Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army serviceman Artyom Varderesyan,20, who died in Karabakh today as a result of the adversary’s firing, was to complete his military service in June.
Armenia’s Katnajour village head Armen Papoyan, who was the killed soldier’s fellow-villager, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am.
According to the village head, the soldier had two sisters and was the eldest in the family.
“Artyom was satisfied with the service. He served properly,” Papoyan said.
NKR Defense Army serviceman Artyom Varderesyan sustained fatal gunshot wound at 2:55 pm today as a result of the adversary’s firing in the direction of one of the northeastern protection areas of the NKR Defense Army unit, Karabakh Defense Army press-service reports.
Investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances of the incident.
