The Upper Lars Georgian military motorway is closed for truck traffic.

General Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, a federal subject of Russia, informed the aforesaid, according to TASS news agency of Russia.

Due to bad weather conditions in Georgia, this road is closed to trucks, as of Monday 12:30am, Armenia Standard Time.

The Upper Lars motorway crosses the Russia-Georgia border.
