Clashes unleashed by Azerbaijan continue along the entire line of contact. The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army special task force subdivision eliminated an Azerbaijani diversion investigative  group. The group retreated, leaving behind numerous casualties, Karabakh reported. The Azerbaijani army lost three tanks, two drones and two helicopters.

On his way back from the US, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan was immediately reported regarding the situation. The president’s plane will land in Yerevan in the coming hours.

President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan convened an Security Council special meeting.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry condemned Azerbaijani large-scale actions and its attacks on civilians. The Ministry urged the international community to call Azerbaijan to order stressing that the scale of aggression, and the choice of weapons and targets suggests that Baku seeks consistent aggravation of the situation.

President of Russia Vladmir Putin expressed concern by the reports along the resumed hostilities at the line of contact. The Russian leader urged parties to the conflict to immediately cease hostilities.

Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office is aware of this situation.  But, neither he nor his field workers have yet arrived in Nagorno-Karabakh.

As reported earlier, a 12-year-old child was killed and two other children were wounded  in the Azerbaijani missile and shelling attack toward peaceful settlements.
