The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, on Thursday wrapped up his official visit to Germany.

Before returning to Armenia, however, he met with executive director Michael Harms of the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations, and German business leaders.

The President briefed the discussants on the process of and the prospects for Armenia’s economic development, economic priorities, activities of the German companies that work in the country’s market, and the avenues for the development of Armenian-German economic cooperation.

The representatives of German business circles, for their part, asked Sargsyan about the development trends and partnership opportunities in numerous domains in Armenia. The President responded to these and many other questions posed by those in attendance.

In the German capital city of Berlin, Serzh Sargsyan also gave an interview to Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international broadcaster.
