Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that US should bring its Turkish partners to senses as they still block the participation of Kurds in the negotiations on Syria, RIA Novosti reported.
The main task of the Geneva talks is to ensure representative nature of the delegation of the Syrian opposition, he added.
According to Lavrov, this also implies the need to begin the direct and not mediated dialogue between the government delegation and an inclusive full-fledged delegation of the opposition.
