The relatives of Argishti Gaboyan, 23-year-old captain of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army who was recorded missing, have identified the body handed over to the Armenian side Wednesday.
“We have identified him. This is our child,” Argishti’s uncle, Seyran Gaboyan said.
The body of the soldier killed as a result of the Azerbaijani aggression was handed over to the Armenian side Wednesday through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Office of the Personal Representative to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Chairperson-in-Office.
