STEPANAKERT. – Engineering work is underway along the frontline. 

Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Prime Minister Arayik Haroutyunyan noted the aforesaid at Wednesday’s consultation with those in charge of the NKR defense, urban development and civil protection as well as with the heads of construction companies.

The Artsakh government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the PM also thanked representatives of the construction companies for actively participating in the engineering work toward further fortifying the frontline with Azerbaijan, and after the recent military actions.

“It is the civic duty of us all to sacrifice not only [our] property, but [our] life, for the protection of the homeland,” Haroutyunyan stated. “Thanks to you all for manifesting yourselves in this way these days.”

The NKR PM noted that the government will provide appropriate resources to the companies, as needed, to organize the respective work in timely fashion and with efficiency. 

Civil protection was also discussed during the consultation.
