Turkish human rights activist Sait Cetinoglu said the Armenian Genocide is the  shame of Turks.

Injustice occurred besides the tragedy in 1915, he told journalists during the Second Global Forum Against the Crime of Genocide in Yerevan on April 23.

He also mentioned that 20 – 25% of Turkey's population, and the people who were killed, were not beggars, they were robbed and only after that were killed. More than 30 % of the capital of the country has gone to those who carried out the genocide.

He stated that this policy is still going on and now it is manifested with the arrests of Armenians and those supporting recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

Turkish human rights activist emphasized importance of the Turkish lawmaker Karo Paylayan’s step who voiced a question of murder of the Armenian lawmakers in 1915. He noted that even the building of the parliament where he spoke yesterday has the Armenian name, and they  can't but recognize it.

As to support by the Turkish authorities of the Azerbaijani aggression against Karabakh, Sait Cetinoglu  emphasized it is such a policy when the Genocide is exported out of borders of the state. The Turkish analyst also added that he is persecuted for his position.
