YEREVAN. – The adversary has amassed military equipment at the Nakhichevan sector of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
Koryun Nahapetyan, Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs, on Friday told the aforesaid to reporters in the NA adding, however, that the situation is under control.
“Both the leadership of the Defense Ministry and the General Staff of the Armed Forces [of Armenia] are in full control of the situation,” said Nahapetyan. “Our troops, relevant divisions of the Armed Forces are fully prepared to resist any attack.”
As for Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan’s recent meeting at Parliament with the MPs, Koryun Nahapetyan said numerous matters were discussed during this talk, but given the closed nature of this meeting, he cannot provide any details.
