Alan Meale (United Kingdom, SOC) and Giuseppe Galati (Italy, EPP/CD), co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) for the monitoring of obligations and commitments by Armenia, will make a fact-finding visit to the country on 11 and 12 May 2016, focusing on the follow-up to constitutional changes, electoral reform and the fight against corruption.

In Yerevan, they are due to meet the President, the Prime Minister, the Justice Minister and the Prosecutor General, as well as the head of the Commission on Ethics for High-Ranking Officials and the Chief of Government Staff, PACE said in a statement.

Talks are also scheduled with representatives of different factions in the parliament, members of the Armenian delegation to PACE and civil society representatives.
