To discuss the circumstances of the incident that took place between Azerbaijanis and Armenians on May 16, in the Ukrainian city of Lviv, we met today with the heads of the Armenian and Azerbaijani communities in Ukraine. The head of the Armenian community in Lviv Nikolay Kocharian told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

"We met and reconciled. Next week we are going to meet and discuss problems. At this moment everything is fine , "said Nikolay Kocharyan. Note that during Kung Fu European Championship held on May 12-15 in Lviv, Ukraine, there took place a clashes between representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

At the end of the fight Karabakh born Davit Petrosyan, who was defeating the Azerbaijani sportsman, was attacked from behind by his Azerbaijani opponent in the ring. Later on, the coaches and athletes of the Azerbaijani Team attacked the Armenian team members with batons.

In fact, the attacked sportsman from Karabakh, David Petrosyan, is the brother of Marat Petrosyan, who annihilated five Azerbaijani tanks and one infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) during the days of April aggression. 

On May 16 , according to media outlets, there took place clashes between Armenians and Azerbaijanis. The situation was quite tense after the clashes in Lviv.
