To change the situation in Javakhk, it is necessary to get rid of the local self-governance bodies appointed by the National Security Service of Georgia, Co-Chairman of unregistered Georgian Virk Party, Davit Rstakyan, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.   

“Our people should form local governance authorities, which will act stemming from the people’s interests and tell the Georgian and Armenian authorities how to act on this land. And now Georgians elect whoever they want and then put them in front of Armenian authorities, telling them to work with the latter. And these authorities never act stemming from the people’s interests, but continue depopulation of Armenians from Javakhk by their Armenophobia,” Rstakyan noted.
