The issues regarding PACE sub-committee on Nagorno-Karabakh will be considered within the framework of current session, PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu said at Oct. 4 press conference on the occasion of the Autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly.

“We are going to have another meeting in my office. Then, I will report back on Friday regarding this meeting. This is the resolution the PACE adopted in 2005, saying that bureau should have a sub-committee on Nagorno-Karabakh as well as sub-committee on Georgia-Russia issues. This is the resolution we have to follow,” Cavusoglu said.

Newly elected PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu, representing Turkey and pressurized by Azerbaijan, does his utmost to resume activities of sub-committee on Nagorno-Karabakh. Meanwhile, the Armenian side repeatedly opposed this initiative.
