President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Monitoring Committee Co-Rapporteurs Cezar Florin Preda, and Stefan Schennach.
The guests noted the “successful development” of cooperation between the Council of Europe and Azerbaijan, the latter’s media reported citing the official website of the Azerbaijan president.
The interlocutors also discussed the avenues for the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The PACE co-rapporteurs are in Azerbaijan on a three-day visit.
Aside from talks with Azerbaijani officials, they will meet also with the civil society and media representatives of the country.
