YEREVAN. – In seven years, the information technology (IT) sector of Armenia shall create a reliable protection technology for the country.
Karen Vardanyan, Executive Director of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) of Armenia, said the abovementioned at Friday’s official opening of the DigiTec Business Forum of ITs, in capital city Yerevan.
In his words, such an objective is envisioned by the defensibility concept which the IT sector of Armenia has developed.
As per Vardanyan, several dozen IT companies have joined forces within two to three months, to develop joint solutions and for e-governance.
The UITE chief added that the product, which they are going to create, can take Armenia out to the markets with tens of millions of dollars in volume.
