Anti-Armenian hysteria in Turkey and Azerbaijan gains momentum, Republican Party MP and Secretary of party’s parliamentary group Eduard Sharmazanov stated in the National Assembly. According to him, immediately after “notorious Akhtamar show was staged, Turks prayed in Ani Cathedral” that is another prove of Turkey’s anti-Armenian essence.

Sharmazanov also touched upon recent statement by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu that “the Armenian-Turkish relations will be normalized after the Karabakh conflict is resolved and Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity is ensured.”  “The foreign minister of a country that in broad daylight occupied a part of Cyprus is speaking of territorial integrity,” the MP noted. Turkey is not guided by “zero problems with neighbors” principle but in fact makes zero its chances to join the EU, he added.
