Pope Francis has sent ta telegram to President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan amid his visit to Armenia, the Vatican Radio reported.
“Flying over Turkey on my pastoral visit to Armenia, I extend best wishes to Your Excellency and your fellow citizens, with prayers that the Most High will bestow upon all in the nation His choicest blessings,”the telegram says.
On Friday Pope Francis arrived in Armenia for a three-day visit.
