Turkey is greatly concerned over “occupation” of Nagorno-Karabakh and surrounding regions. The problem should be solved for the region to develop, Turkish Ambassador in Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic told the journalists today, commenting on the activities of OCSE field assessment mission.

“We want to see early resolution of the Karabakh conflict for peace and development of the region. Azerbaijani lands are still occupied, it is unjust. The UN has adopted four resolutions regarding this problem. We do not want to have problems with neighbors. However, it is necessary to liberate Azerbaijani occupied territories and find a solution to the Karabakh conflict,” he said.

He also called to treat  the decision by the Nationalist Movement Party to pray in Ani Cathedral with respect.
