STEPANAKERT. -- A soldier of the Karabakh Defense Army yet in unclear circumstances sustained a fatal gunshot wound on Thursday morning at a military outpost in the eastern direction of the line of contact with Azerbaijan.
An investigation has been launched into the death of Vahan Mikaelyan (born 1997).
The Karabakh army expressed condolences to the family of the soldier.
