YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Saturday met with Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Seyed Kazem Sajadi to discuss bilateral relations and development of trade ties.

The sides discussed the agreement on lifting visa requirements between the countries that has been recently signed by the Armenian and Iranian governments. From today Armenian citizens can enter Iran without visas, the Ambassador said.

The Prime Minister and Ambassador are confident that abolition of visa requirements will promote tourism and will create more favorable conditions for mutual visits of Armenian and Iranian citizens.
