YEREVAN. – A club of “disappointed” from the West is being formed in the region.

Founder and Director of the Armenian Institute of International and Security Affairs, political analyst Styopa Safaryan, stated the abovementioned at a press conference on Friday.

He noted this reflecting on the present-day situation following the military coup attempt in Turkey, in July.

“Russia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey are military rivals, but tactical partners,” said Safaryan. “There can be lasting cooperation between them, but they have very opposite interests.”

As per the political analyst, this cooperation, however, could change the balance in connection with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe OSCE Minsk Group—which is engaged in resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict—, and this will deprive Armenia of maneuvering.
