Iran has no plans to acquire S-400 antiaircraft weapon system from Russia.
Hossein Dehghan, the Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of Iran, stated about the aforesaid.
“The Russian side has offered the S-400 systems to Iran,” said the minister, according to Tasnim News Agency of Iran. “But we don’t have plans to purchase them.”
The S-400 Triumf (Russian: C-400, Triumph; NATO reporting name: SA-21 Growler) antiaircraft weapon system uses three different missiles to cover its entire performance envelope.
