Bugatti company sold nearly half  of all Chiron models planned to release, Car&Driver reported.

According to the blog, at least 200 Chirons are so far bought up; in total, Bugatti plans to sell 500 copies of the 1500-hp Chiron, for which it claims a top speed of 261 mph.

The base price of the supercar Bugatti Chiron is about $2,7 million.
