President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Bako Sahakyan on Wednesday visited the Getavan village of the Martakert region. There he attended the grand opening of the memorial complex in memory of Getavan freedom fighters who fell during the Artsakh Liberation War, the press-service of the NKR President’s Office reports.

On the same day, Bako Sahakyan attended the Hrashapar ceremony at the Gandzasar monastery. Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin  II, NKR National Assembly speaker Ashot Ghoulyan and other officials also took part in the aforementioned events.
