STRASBOURG. – The autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will get underway Monday in Strasbourg, France.

The agenda of this session, however, does not include any matters that are directly related to Armenia, the Armenian News-NEWS.am special correspondent reported from Strasbourg.

Nonetheless, the Panama Papers will be debated on, and the names of some Armenians may be mentioned from the platform.

At the moment, the media know that the name of Mihran Poghosyan, former head of the Compulsory Enforcement Service of Judicial Orders of Armenia, is included in this offshore scandal.

To note, however, the names of the family members of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev are also noted in connection with this scandal. It is believed that the Armenian delegation to PACE definitely will reflect on this situation.

The PACE autumn session will conclude on Friday.
