YEREVAN. – As of Tuesday 9:30am, it is snowing in Artashavan, Aparan, Aragats, Vanadzor, Stepanavan, Spitak, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Gavar, Martuni, Vardenis, Chambarak, Dilijan, Vayk, Jermuk, Sisian, and Goris towns as well as in the Tigranashen, Saravan, Vardenyats, and Meghri mountain passes, informed the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology of Armenia.

The road crews are scattering salt and sand on the motorways in the aforesaid areas, and also cleaning them to ensure safe travel.

The Ministry advises drivers to travel on these roads solely with winter tires on their vehicles.
