YEREVAN. – The East Invest 2 Annual Partner Conference kicked off Thursday in Yerevan.

Suren Karayan, Minister of Economic Development and Investment of Armenia, and Martin Sargsyan, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Armenia, also are among those to deliver opening remarks at this event, which the capital city of Armenia is hosting for the first time.

The CCI of Armenia began implementing the East Invest 2 project in early 2011.

This project is co-funded by the European Commission, and within the framework of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) initiative of the European Union (EU).

It aims to assist business organizations, and support small and medium-sized enterprises.
