On October 21, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan met with British Ambassador to Armenia Charles Lonsdale, the former defense Attaché Lt Col Nick Ridout and the newly appointed attaché Steve Phillips.

Ohanyan highly appreciated Ridout’s activities in the development of Armenian-British military cooperation. Ohanyan congratulated Deputy Colonel Steve Phillips on the appointment to the new post and expressed hope for further close cooperation. The Armenian Defense Minister expressed confidence the bilateral military cooperation will expand and improve.

The officials also discussed problems on bilateral military cooperation, as well as issues on regional security.
