Well-known Japanese company Yamaha is planning to release its first serial car. It is not excluded that the new product will be presented to the public by the end of next year.

There is no information on technical aspect and also on exterior of the car yet. Presumably, the design of the Yamaha car will be similar to Mazda Miata, Informing.ru reported.

It was also noted that the weight of the vehicle is approximately 750 kg as Yamaha developers used lightweight metals during its creation.

Yamaha has previously tried to bring own car to the market.  However, these attempts ended in failure. None of the vehicles gained popularity among consumers.
