YEREVAN. – In 2017, healthcare spending in Armenia will amount to 85 billion and 772 thousand drams (about US$178,261,150.).

The First Deputy Minister of Finance, Atom Janjughazyan, noted the aforesaid at Friday’s National Assembly respective committees’ hearings on the draft state budget for next year.

In his words, the planned expenses in this sector have decreased by 3 percent, as compared to the year past.

As per Janjughazyan, 17 programs are planned to be implemented within the framework of hospital medical care, including, “Medical assistance services to those citizens that are included in socially insecure and special groups.”
