YEREVAN. – Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Paolo Gentiloni, recently signed a joint statement on the founding—in Armenia—of a regional center for the preservation and restoration of cultural heritage.

The establishment of this center will be a continuation of the Cultural Heritage Preservation in Armenia program, which is co-funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, and the Politecnico di Milano (Polytechnic University of Milan), the Ministry of Culture of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

This center will enable to organize courses in cultural heritage, and it will include several institutions and organizations, whose great potential can contribute to the founding of this center.
