The Australian scientists who have been studying Proxima Centauri have decided to search for an extraterrestrial life there. For that purpose, they use the most powerful telescope in New South Wales, reports the Informing.

Proxima Centauri is 4.2 light years away from the Earth. Scientists believe that this is the very place where can be an extraterrestrial life. Studying this planet is very difficult, because our telescopes’ capacity does not allow to capture detailed views. Scientists believe that the Parkes telescope will scan radiofrequencies, and they will make new discoveries. This project is called Breakthrough Listen.
