The Armenian-US bilateral economic relationship continues to be in the center of attention of the US Embassy. We are proud there have been made major investments in Armenia in the last 18 months, announced the U.S. State Department Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia Bridget Brink.

According to her, there are no new agreements planned at the moment, but the US supports reforms that promote the economic growth and investments in Armenia.

“As Armenia celebrates 25 years of independence this year, I also underscore continuing the US support for the reforms, that’ve enforced that independence, including anti-corruption efforts and reforms that help to create the independence of the judiciary.  These reforms are also very important for the economic growth. Another one of our long-standing priorities, and I would follow up the conversations from the US-Armenia Task Force, which took place in October in order to increase prosperity for all Armenians.”
