A part of Eiffel Tower’s stairs was sold on Monday for more than €523,000 at Artcurial auction house in Paris, RIA Novosti reported quoting AFP.

The height of the fragment is 2.6 and the stairs consist of 14 foot. This fragment of the spiral staircase of 1889 has been connecting the second and third floors of the Eiffel Tower.

The initial sum of trading was € 20,000. As a result, the maximum sum was offered by the collector who is the citizen of one of the Asian countries. He bought a fragment for € 523,800.
