YEREVAN. – The meat producing companies in Armenia are the best among the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries, “National Association of Consumers of Armenia” NGO Chairperson Melita Hakobyan said at a press conference on Monday.
“We have visited more than 40 businesses [that are engaged in the production of meat and dairy products, confectionery, etc.],” she noted. “And our inspections have found that there are no violations [of food safety regulations] there.”
