The oldest man in the UK, Jack Mansfield died peacefully in his sleep in Etwall in Derbyshire on Sunday, BBC reported.

The man died just weeks before his 109th birthday.

Jack Mansfield, who had six children with his late-wife, Beatrice, leaves behind ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
