YEREVAN. – The Central Bank of Armenia on Thursday put new silver commemorative medals into circulation.
The medals are entitled “Khotakerats Sourb Nshan [i.e. Holy Sign],” “Cross with the Relics of Saint George,” and “Cross with the Relics of Saint John the Baptist.”

The nominal value of each commemorative medal is 1,000 drams (about US$2), up to 2,500 pieces have been minted for these three medals, and they were minted in Germany.
