YEREVAN. – Armenia will purchase natural gas from Russia at a price of $150 per 1,000 cubic meters, until the end of the coming year.
Draft of the respective changes to the Armenia-Russia interstate agreement was approved at Thursday’s Cabinet session of the Government of Armenia.

In December 2013, the aforesaid agreement was signed with respect to Russian gas supplies to Armenia at a price of $189 per 1,000 cubic meters.
In 2015, however, this price fell to $165 per 1,000 cubic meters.
And following the Armenian and Russian PMs’ talk on April 7, 2016, the price of $150 per 1,000 cubic meters was announced.
