YEREVAN. - Armenia will get 2 billion AMD as a result of increasing the duties on lotteries and internet casinos.
Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia, Vakhtang Mirumyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am.
The duty on lottery will rise from 100 to 500 million AMD annually (approx. $1.05 million). This will bring 2 billion AMD to the treasury as opposed to the losses from lowering the average rate of natural persons’ income tax, Mirumyan added. .
The Tax Code, which will take effect in 2018, stipulates revision of tax rates. The revision of state duties on lottery is prescribed by the amendments to the Law on State Duty.
