Armenia is forming a single and comparable energy system with Iran, Georgia and Russia, and which can also be effectively integrated into the energy markets of the European Union (EU).
Armenian delegation member, MP Mikayel Melkumyan, noted the aforesaid in his address Thursday at the joint meeting of the Economic Integration and Energy Security Committees of the EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly of the EU Eastern Partnership countries, and which is held in the Belgian capital city of Brussels.

The Armenian MP also noted that his country expects more extensive and technical assistance from the European Union.
