The pilot of the crashed Colombia Bolivian airline plane did not refuel the aircraft, reports the Bolivian Pagina Siete, referring to the airline representative Gustavo Vargas.

Previously, the Colombian authorities informed, that the plane had crashed, because running out of fuel. "The pilot was the one who made the decision. He thought the fuel would last, "said Vargas.

According to Vargas, there should be held an investigation to find out why the pilot decided to head straight to Medellin. Vargas stated that the plane was manufactured in the UK and was in a good condition.

The plane crashed 50 kilometers away from Medellin. There were 77 people on board: 68 passengers and nine crew members, including the Brazilian Chapecoense club players, who were traveling to Medellin for the South American Cup. Only six people survived in the plane crash. Three of them are football players - Alan Ruschel, Jackson Follmann, and Neto.
