Scientists have decided to find out whether husband and wife should be friends and conducted a corresponding research, Informing reported.

Volunteers were offered the answers: “My husband is my best friend and I want to spend much time with him”, “It’s good that I can talk to my wife about things I can't talk to friends”, “I can talk to friends about things that I will never tell my husband”.

As a result, it was turned out that respondents' opinions were divided.

At the same time scientists noticed that there is difference of life satisfaction of people noting that their spouses are their best friends and those who separate friendship from marriage.

Researchers defined that, there is a positive interrelation between marriage and life satisfaction of couples who said that their spouses are their best friends.
