YEREVAN. - The cities and villages of Armenia can try to organize central heating.

First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Development of Armenia, Vache Terteryan, stated the aforementioned in the National Assembly (NA) on Monday, introducing the new bill “On local duties and payments.”

The bill proposes new types of duties and payments, which the community can collect. Among them is also the payment for central heating. “Of course, there is no community heating in Armenia now but the administration of cities and villages can try to organize it.  We thereby give them an incentive to do that,” Terteryan said.
